Four stages in the therapeutic process
How we deal with thoughts and feelings
Lifestyle and its effect on the feeling of anxiety
We will address two key components of dealing with thoughts and emotions: identifying maladaptive thoughts and offering alternatives, and practicing acceptance of internal experiences.
The influence of the relationships in our lives on the experience of anxiety
How support circles ease the experience of anxiety, how certain relationships intensify it, and how one can deal with existing patterns and their impact on quality of life.
Observing how lifestyle perpetuates the experience of anxiety. We will learn together what practical lifestyle changes can be made to provide initial relief.
The connection between behavior and anxiety
We will learn how behavior creates and maintains the experience of anxiety. We will learn to identify maladaptive behaviors and together find alternatives to them that will not intensify the experience of anxiety and will even ease it.
